Firewall settings

Information to configure your company proxy, firewall and network allow rules for KHelpDesk.

Below are the recommended allow rules so KHelpDesk can work correctly on corporate networks with proxy, firewall or traffic filtering.

Ports

TCP and UDP5100 to 5120Important: allow the entire port range from 5100 through 5120. This is 21 ports total, including 5100 and 5120, for both TCP and UDP.
HTTP/HTTPS80 and 443Standard ports for web access and secure web communication.

P2P connections

Allow NAT traversal whenever possible for P2P connections, so our application can connect directly to your customer without routing through our servers.

We recommend allowing access by FQDN/domains whenever possible, because IP addresses may change in the future. KHelpDesk infrastructure is constantly growing and always seeking better stability.
