Below are the recommended allow rules so KHelpDesk can work correctly on corporate networks with proxy, firewall or traffic filtering.
Ports
| Type | Recommended allow rule | Note |
|---|---|---|
| TCP and UDP | 5100 to 5120 | Important: allow the entire port range from 5100 through 5120. This is 21 ports total, including 5100 and 5120, for both TCP and UDP. |
| HTTP/HTTPS | 80 and 443 | Standard ports for web access and secure web communication. |
P2P connections
Allow NAT traversal whenever possible for P2P connections, so our application can connect directly to your customer without routing through our servers.
